What is the ULEZ?
The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is an area in Greater London where most vehicles need to meet emissions standards or pay a £12.50 daily charge. It operates 24 hours a day, every day except Christmas Day.
Are you part of Transport for London?
No. ULEZ Pay Assist is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Transport for London (TfL) or any UK government body. You can always pay TfL directly at tfl.gov.uk with no service fee.
How much does the service cost?
We charge a flat £4.99 service fee per order, on top of the ULEZ daily charge of £12.50 per day. The fee is the same whether you're paying for one day or many.
How many days can I pay for in one order?
Up to 60 days per order. TfL allows you to pay for ULEZ charges up to 90 days in advance and up to 3 days after driving in the zone (we accept slightly more to give you margin).
What happens after I submit my order?
You'll receive a confirmation email with a secure payment link. After payment, we submit the ULEZ charge on your behalf and email you a confirmation with the TfL reference.
What if my vehicle is exempt?
If your vehicle is ULEZ compliant, you don't need to pay the daily charge. Use our vehicle checker for an indicative answer, then confirm on tfl.gov.uk.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — if we are unable to submit the ULEZ charge on your behalf, we refund the ULEZ portion. The service fee is non-refundable once we've begun processing your order.
